Dear Readers,
A strange and uncommon bout of altruism has struck me today, so I decided to post TWO outfits I wore during the past week. I'm joking, obviously, I'm posting two because I forgot to post one of them last weekend. Premature dementia, anyone?
Top: Next
Shorts: Miss Selfridge
Hat: Tally Weijl
This is what I wore last Saturday to stroll around in Sliema. I've had this ruffled top for over a year, but I never found anything to pair it with until last weekend. Or rather, I had things to match it, but it looked boring and it needed that little extra thing. This little extra thing is the hat I bought from Tally Weijl last week. I've been looking for a black hat for ages, but, as you know, I have a massive head so the task can get rather difficult. I'm so happy with it, and with the price I got it for. It was only two euro! Now all I need to add to my hat collection is a black top hat and a black bowler hat. The hat hunt continues...
Button-Up Shirt: Stradivarius
Shorts: Peacocks
Postman Bag: Peacocks
Fedora Hat: Peacocks
Loafers: Open Market
The outfit above is what I wore today to brunch with my mother and my sister. It took us nearly two hours to get to our destination, but it was worthwhile. I ate a tad too much, but it's okay cause I don't do it often :) As you can see, I'm pretty obsessed with hats at the moment. Well, in reality I've been obsessed with hats ever since I can remember, but I never found any that fit me. I guess my head is shrinking now or something like that. Anyway, in this outfit, I'm wearing a white fedora hat that I bought from Peacocks' warehouse sale yesterday for one euro. Yes, one euro! I do have another white fedora, but this has a slightly wider brim so I decided to get it anyway. I find this has a more 'Indiana Jones' feel to it.
Seeing that I'm really into hats at the moment, and that many have requested it, I intend to write something about hats very soon. Hats can transform an outfit drastically, that's why they're such a basic item in every lady's wardrobe. For some strange reason though, whenever I wear a hat everyone (from shop assistants to bus drivers) thinks I'm a foreigner. Oh well, I can't complain about that really!
I hope you're all having a great day dear readers!
-B
