Something From The Fifties

Dear Readers,

One of the reasons why I try to come up with a street style entry or an inspiration post regularly is that I believe that sometimes pictures can be much more useful than a regular tips and tricks post. As they say, a picture speaks a thousand words.

I usually choose photos from contemporary lookbooks or street style sources, but for today's entry, I decided to go for a tiny collection of vintage pictures. The feedback I get whenever I post a vintage photo to my Facebook Page is overwhelmingly good and most of you find them particularly inspiring, so I can switch things up every once in a while and go for photos from past decades for these sort of inspiration posts if you like.

These photos are all taken from one of my favourite decades in terms of fashion: the fabulous fifties! Let me know in the comments below whether you want me to keep this post as a regular.
