Dolce & Gabbana Bambino

Dear Readers,

Come on Vogue, let your body mooooove to the music! Oh, excuse me, you just caught me dancing in front of the mirror singing Madonna's iconic tune. On to more serious matters...

Whenever I share a photo of a stylish child on Facebook or Tumblr - secretly wishing that one of my potential future children looks exactly like that - I sort of feel like half of my followers think I'm a paedophile. I'm not. I swear. I just love children dressed up in mega-stylish frocks and suits looking like miniature adults. Possibly the only thing that excites me more than buying clothes for myself, is buying clothes for my future children (not that there are any planned in the near future, of course).

This strange sense of excitement was the feeling I had when I read about the new and upcoming Dolce & Gabbana Bambino clothing line: a selection of garments for the little ones. Yes, I said 'awhh' too. Since the idea of family is one of the brand's most important values, many argued that it was only time until they launched a clothing line for children.

The line definitely doesn't lack that vibe of luxury so synonymous with the Italian designer label, yet what I love most is how child-appropriate the designs are. I'm aware that I just said that I like children looking like miniature adults, but I meant that in a cute way. There's nothing I hate more than children being forced to look and wear extremely revealing or obnoxious 'adult' clothing! Not even adults should wear that kind of thing!

Undoubtedly, the collection's baptismal frocks are set to become a coveted 'must-have' for those parents who are lucky enough to clad their young ones in designer garments.
