I'm a new year resolutions kind of person. I'm super organised and I obviously cannot miss an opportunity to draw a list. I'm addicted to lists by the way.
Without boring you with excessive details about my personal resolutions, I move on to my only style resolution for 2012. In a few words, here goes: I'm only going to wear things that have 'Lara Boffa' written all over them.
Thing is, my style icons, starting from Audrey Hepburn and ending with Blair Waldorf, have a very distinct style. You could literally eye a piece and say, 'This is so Blair Waldorf' or 'Geez, this is such an Audrey item'. After years of experimenting, I feel like I've finally decided what clothes define me, my personality and my likes. I've spent the last months of 2011 getting rid of those items I bought just for the sake of buying. The sort of stuff you buy and wear once just to spice up a night out or a day out with friends. I don't want that. Hence, why I told you I needed a influx of new shoes in my last haul.

I had it coming. I don't feel like I'm a girl who into following trends - apart from this season! Most of the trends of AW2011 feature some of my basics so I was in seventh heaven - I'm more into 'what's more me'.
Oh look at you, thinking I'm a self-centred materialistic young woman. So be it.
I feel like some of you out there might think that I'm going to be engulfed in a torrent of repetitiveness. You know, always wearing brogues or always sporting hats. That's not the way it works. You'll change your mind.
