Anna Dello Russo for H&M

Dear Readers,

I don't know whether this is the case for you as well, but I'm seriously starting to greet these 'H&M designer collaborations' with mixed emotions. A part of me cannot fathom why this fashion giant hasn't as yet opened its door on this island I dwell on (*insert dramatic music here*). Another side of me cannot help but admit that this phenomenon, like many before it, will grow into an overly saturated 'habit'.

Nevermind my hopefully imprecise prophecy. The upcoming Anna Dello Russo for H&M collaboration seems to have won over many of us already. Dello Russo, creative director of Japanese Vogue, is set to launch an accessory collaboration with H&M in Fall. Expect jewellery, shoes, bags and even a suitcase! All, naturally, of the very unique kind.

The preview photo I included features rather tempting pieces. Who doesn't love some gold and turquoise bling?  Whereas this is definitely not a collection for the faint-hearted, even fashion lovers who levitate towards classic looks - like myself, alas! - would definitely find something to do with these items. I have a few ideas already.

October 4th 2012. Save the date.
