I heard Mendelssohn's 'Hallelujah' when I came across this vintage polka dot dress in what I like to refer to as the 'family archive'. It was really hot yesterday! Getting to and coming back from Sliema was a sweaty nightmare, but at least I was in good company. My friend Claire and I went round some shops, grabbed a bite for lunch and then caught up in the shade before snapping these pictures for today's post.
My Summer up to now was an overdose of polka dots. As much as I try to steer away from these spots, I keep coming back to them. I wish I encountered this dress before though, I would have definitely gotten a lot of wear out of it. Oh well, I'll wear it again next year. Oh, and I'm totally going on a Southern Italy tour next Summer. My friend Claire spoke to me about her recent travels along the Costa Amalfitana and now I desperately want to go there myself!
