I just hate wearing something that I'm desperate to show you without taking time to prepare an OOTD post for it. I've worn this dress around seven hundred fifty times this Summer, so it was high time I mounted camera and tripod to take a few shots (with dodgy poses and lighting) before heading out to the door to a meeting.
This was my first ever ASOS purchase back at the beginning of Summer. Shirt dresses were always high in my wishlist, yet I never found one that really tickled my fancy. This Vero Moda dress was the one though. Its carousel print - Paris and carousels, anyone? - made me press that 'add to bag' button in a matter of seconds and the rest is history!
The only thing I'm not as fond of is the slit at the side. Not only do I feel slightly exposed when I sit down, I also have to pay extra attention on windy days (which for some strange reason always come along when I wear a full skirt or a slit...) but I've learnt to live with it. Shirt dresses are really easy to throw on when making an effort feels like travelling to Australia and back on a pony. You just need to add a pair of slingbacks and you're sorted.
